For Christmas one year my grandma cut up an old pair of her favorite jeans and sewed me a purse as a gift. I was so in love with it and became obsessed with the endless possibilities to decorate and personalize this bag and its plethora of pockets. I received so many compliments from friends and strangers and felt this joy should be shared. 

 

My grandma recently retired and had to move to downsize her space. As a quilting grandma, she has piles and piles of fabric that take up a bit more space than she can spare. So, I suggested a collaboration with her, something we could work on together for some quality time but also to help go through her fabric scraps and get her some extra money. Needless to say these bags are all one of a kind and incredibly dear to my heart.
